All machines are fully operational with some cosmetic defects which are outlined for each machine below.
DIGIPREP 301 - S/N N20150261/N20150188
Has small crack on side body fascia. The machine has been used with colloidal media so has some staining on splash guard and surrounding area of the plate. Includes drive plate and aluminium plate with magnetic backer. Available for £3,750, please contact us for more info and to purchase (please quote the S/N number above).
DIGIPREP preparation systems are designed for fully automated materialographic sample preparation for consistent and reproducible specimen quality. DIGIPREP’s automatic head controls the force applied precisely (central and individual pressure), allowing specimens to be produced exactly the same way. With the ability to store and recall preparation programs on the LCD screen, consistent results are obtained. Supplied ready to use without specimen holders.

DIGIPREP 300 S/N N090065/N090080
Water feed to plate and lubomat feed replaced with plastic tubing Instead of standard feed tubes. Machine stage has some 'staining' from fluid media usage. The machine shows general wear and tear damage due to its age (2009), however, all functions are operational. Available for £1,500, please contact us for more info and to purchase (please quote the S/N number above).

MICRACUT 151 precision cut off machine - Specification
MICRACUT 151 is a low speed precision cut off machine used for precise and deformation free cutting of materials found in any metallurgical, geological, electronic, research, biomedical or industrial laboratory. The cut surface is ready for microscopic examination with minimal polishing.
MICROCUT 151 accepts diamond and abrasive wheels up to 150mm diameter with a variable speed range between 0 to 1000 rpm. The gravity feed loading design minimises sample deformation. The sliding arm with counterweight allows precise force application. The digital micrometer enables the operator to set the cutting width with a resolution of 1 micron. The coolant tray is removable from the front of the instrument for easy cleaning. The cutting chamber is fully enclosed by a transparent hood. Blade dresser is an optional feature. At the end of the cut, an audible signal notifies the operator. Optional cutting table attachment is available for manual cutting of extra flat large specimens and PCBs. Supplied without specimen vice.
