Hand Lapping & Portable Lapping Kits
Hand lapping uses the same principles as machine lapping with respect to abrasive grade / plate selection / plate flatness, but with the following exceptions
- Lapping plate is kept stationary
- Components are moved by hand in a figure of 8 action
- Diamond compounds or liquid diamond can be used
